Using the Tool

Once the application is running, follow these steps to generate your certificates or receipts:

Selecting Files

  1. Select an Image File:
    • Click the “Browse” button next to “Image File” to select the template image (PNG or JPEG) that you want to use.
  2. Select an Excel/CSV File:
    • Click the “Browse” button next to “Excel/CSV File” to choose the data file containing the information to be placed on the certificates (e.g., names, dates).
  3. Select an Output Folder:
    • Click the “Browse” button next to “Output Folder” to specify where the generated files will be saved.

Setting Placeholders

  1. Choose a Placeholder:
    • Use the dropdown menu under “Choose Placeholder” to select the placeholder you want to position on the template.
  2. Place the Placeholder:
    • Click “Place Placeholder” and then click on the desired location within the image preview. This will position the text from your data file at that spot.
  3. Undo or Reset Placeholders:
    • If you need to move or remove a placeholder, use the “Undo Last Step” or “Reset Placeholders” buttons.

Adjusting Text Settings

  1. Font Selection:
    • Choose the font for your text from the “Font” dropdown menu.
  2. Text Size:
    • Use the size selector to adjust the font size.
  3. Text Color:
    • Click “Choose Color” to pick a color for the text or “Enter Hex” to manually input a color code.

Zoom Controls

  1. Zoom In and Out:
    • Use the “Zoom In” and “Zoom Out” buttons to adjust the view of your template within the preview window.
  2. Pan the Image:
    • Click and drag within the preview window to move the image around, especially useful when zoomed in.

Generating Images

  1. Set Output Format:
    • Choose your desired output format (PNG, JPEG, or PDF) from the dropdown menu under “Output Format.”
  2. Generate:
    • Click “Generate Images” to start the process.
    • A progress popup will appear, showing the current progress (e.g., “1/100 being processed”).
    • Once completed, a confirmation message will appear, and the generated files will be saved in the specified output folder.

Troubleshooting

  • Security Warnings: If Windows shows a security warning, click “More info” and then “Run anyway.”
  • Missing Placeholders: Ensure that the selected placeholders correspond to columns in your Excel/CSV file.
  • Incorrect Text Placement: Use the “Undo Last Step” to reposition text if it’s not aligned correctly.
